Dear community...
Martine Elias, Executive Director
"No other time in history has a pandemic virus become viral in the sense of being able to learn, communicate and immobilize for the greater good.

As a community and nation, we’re being socially responsible so we can flatten the curve and curtail the spread of COVID-19 . Each province is taking its own specific measures to safeguard their population. If we all abide by these proactive measures, look out for one another and ourselves, we’ll ride this out and hopefully reduce the virus’ reach and impact. Let’s continue to practice social distancing for everyone’s well-being."

"Well, it’s been an interesting 10 years! I’ve had a stem cell transplant, radiation, and treatments while working full-time. It changes your life in so many ways. You start to appreciate things differently and you don’t sweat the small stuff so much. I think I have a better appreciation for the people I have around me, and for the things I have."
