You will be met at Heathrow Airport, London (LHR) at 11AM. Travel in a comfortable minibus to the charming Castle and Ball Hotel in Marlborough, Wiltshire. This historic gem boasts a bistro, fine dining restaurant, a bar, lounge areas, lovely rooms, and a courtyard.
Marlborough is a charming market town, which received its royal charter as a town 808 years ago and has a fine selection of buildings from many periods in history. It has the widest High Street in England where street markets are still held. It also has Merlin's Mound, a 5000 year-old sacred site that gives the town its name.
There is a good range of shops, cafes, restaurants, markets and pubs readily available as the hotel is situated right in the center of town.
The hills and fields around the town are a popular venue for crop circles as is the whole surrounding countryside. The majority of crop circles each year occur within 15 miles of Marlborough.
You will have time to take lunch and rest up or explore the town before a possible late afternoon visit to our first crop circle. Introductions before dinner at the hotel.

All the sacred sites in this area center on Avebury, including Stonehenge some twenty miles distant. Powerful earth energy currents course through this landscape and this may be one reason why the majority of crop circles occur within a 10-mile radius of Avebury.
