Higher Consciousness Meditation

For many years, Dr. Paul Leon Masters taught students the practice of higher consciousness and mystical meditation in his classes. Being divinely guided, he brought forth many new and innovative techniques and practices of meditation.
In everyday life, every physical perception has other vibratory levels that are usually unperceived by your physical senses. There are vibrational frequency energies on a psychic, ethereal, astral, mental, and mystical level. In Dr. Masters’ voice, there are usually undetected frequencies of high spiritual energies transmitted to corresponding energy frequencies in your own higher levels of mind and awareness, stimulating them into activity.
The higher vibrational frequencies in Dr. Masters’ voice come as the result of years of going into the higher levels of his consciousness during meditation, in which he has personally experienced practically all states of meditative consciousness, which you may have heard or read about in various schools of thought, such as Yoga, Alchemy, Theosophy, Self-Realization, Vedanta, Religious Science, Unity, and Mysticism.

International Convention and Formal Cap and Gown Graduation News
We have exciting news to share. On behalf of the IMM Board of Directors and the University Staff, we are excited to officially announce the dates for our next international convention and formal cap and gown ceremony, which will take place in Sedona from September 13 through 18, 2026.
September 13 – Check-in, banquet dinner, and entertainment
September 14, 15, 16 – Speaker Presentations and Workshop
September 17 – The dress rehearsal for the formal cap and gown graduation ceremony
September 18 – Formal cap and gown graduation and closing ceremony
The theme of the convention will be gratitude and celebration. The greatest pleasure for Dr. Masters was watching our graduates work across the stage to receive their diplomas, and our worldwide members having the opportunity to connect. The last convention was in 2019, and in 2026, it will be ten years since our beloved Dr. Masters left to continue his work on the other side. We know he will be smiling down on everybody.
Poco Diablo will close for a complete renovation on June 1st, and they anticipate reopening at the end of March 2026, rebranded as Outbound Sedona under Waterton’s Outbound Hotel brand. Although we traditionally hold our convention and formal cap and gown ceremony in May, we selected September in case of construction delays, and June and July are our hottest months in Sedona.

We do not yet have accommodation prices for our IMM Members looking to book their accommodation well in advance. Please do not contact Poco Diablo at this point. They will be closed, and as soon as we know, we will inform everybody through our newsletter and our graduation website, which we anticipate having up in the coming weeks. The website will have speaker applications, frequently asked questions, and an event schedule.
We intend to stream the event so IMM members who cannot attend and people worldwide can watch the speaker presentations and formal cap and gown graduation live, and have the opportunity to see the depth and caliber of our IMM members and what a profound difference they are making in the world. This promises to be a very special event, and we look forward to meeting you all in person and celebrating with you and your family as you walk to receive your well-earned degrees.
Please Note:
Members can graduate and participate in the graduation ceremony at any degree level.
There is a ceremony to recognize graduates who have achieved more than one Doctorate.
Members can participate in the graduation ceremony irrespective of when they earned their degrees. There is no time limit.
Due to the high number of participants we anticipate will attend and to allow staff enough time to grade and review submissions, please make sure we receive your work by March 31, 2026.
To award the Bachelor's degree, tuition must be one-third paid.
To award the Master's degree, tuition must be two-thirds paid.
To award the Doctoral degree, tuition must be paid in full.

IMM Graduates Worldwide Facebook Group
To help facilitate the sharing of news regarding our upcoming international convention and graduation, in June, we are launching a private and closed Facebook Group called IMM Students and Graduates Worldwide. The group will be private, closed, and only open to IMM students and graduates. University staff will be the only administrators, and the group's focus will be to help our students with their studies, answer their questions, and help our members connect in a safe and respectful space. So many students ask the question, "What can I do with my degree?“ and in the IMM Students and Graduates Worldwide Group, we will encourage our members to share what they are doing with their degree credentials, experiences from previous conventions and graduations when Dr. Masters officiated over the event, and how their studies are impacting their lives and the others around them.
Effective June 1, 2025, we will not support or be in any way connected to the current IMM Members Group. Alumni members independently established the group, and Rev. Lyn will remain the group's administrator. Current members of the IMM Members group can stay with that group, join the new university IMM Students and Graduates Worldwide group, or be members of both. We will post information on joining the IMM Students and Graduates Worldwide group in the online student center portal. We want to thank Rev. Lyn Williams for her years of devoted service to the group and its members and the exceptional webinars she created for the coursework modules, which our students find extremely helpful.

sacred clearing and blessing ceremony given by
the Tibetan Buddhist Monks of the Gaden Shartse Monastery

On Friday, April 11th, 2025, the University of Metaphysics and University of Sedona was blessed with a visit from the Monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery from Mungod. Originally from Tibet, nearly one hundred thousand Tibetans followed His Holiness the Dalai Lama into India, where they continue their work and share their light far and wide.
In a sacred hour-long ceremony, they blessed the past, present, and future of the IMM, including anyone connected or associated with our ministry and educational system throughout the world. In this remarkable experience, a sacred benediction and blessing was given to heal, protect, and enhance positive energy, prosperity, and life for all. The blessings they brought deeply touched us and were greatly appreciated.
Their visit reminded us of a core fundamental principle of the IMM, as instituted by our founder, Dr. Paul Leon Masters: “The IMM welcomes and respects the beliefs of a wide variety of worldwide faiths. Moreover, we recognize that there are many paths to truth, higher consciousness, spiritual reality, and God/Source.” The monk’s visit was a part of that celebratory inclusion.
We want to thank each and every one of our students and graduates for the work you are doing, because together, we can all make the world a better place!
Most of our staff members were present except for Dr. Monica Brillhart, Angie Ringel, and Steven Taylor. They were missed.

Paying your I.M.M. affiliation is necessary for good standing and is a requirement to validate your ministerial credentials and the use of your degree titles.
Please Note: As of March 1, 2025, the annual IMM affiliation has increased to $97 for one year and $177 for two years.
To show our gratitude and appreciation for your continued support and loyalty and to help you save money, we have added three more options for renewing your IMM Minister Affiliation that you can take immediate advantage of.
1) Three-year affiliation $80 per year = $240
2) Five-year affiliation $70 per year = $350
3) Ten-year affiliation $60 per year = $600

My academic experience at the University of Metaphysics has been exceptional. Sharing my experience is a Pleasure!
Though the University is far, I sensed a genuine presence on a daily basis. To begin, I took a sabbatical from my personal and professional obligations when I opted to pursue my PhD at this university, as obtaining a PhD degree has always been a goal of mine. I returned to India in 2003 after earning my Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. At that time, I began applying for PhDs; however, despite receiving a seat back in the UK, I was unable to consider it because the scholarship was quite small and we could not afford to pursue it. I literally forgot about it over time.
Given this opportunity again, with an 80% scholarship, and the fact that I am now a different person with a subject of interest that exactly matches my chosen interest, it pierced my heart, and I chose to go for it with the mindset of "Now or Never!!"
The challenge was not only studying for and passing the PhD, but also going through the full procedure step by step. Yes, first study and pass the B.Msc, then the M.Msc, and finally the PhD.
I only saw myself submitting my PhD dissertation from the day I started with Module-1 in the B.Msc syllabus onward. That means I didn't know I hadn't taken a break from my studies. God's presence was palpable throughout this journey.
Yes, It was Indeed a journey of Self Discovery. When I experienced a setback, Michelle held me, and then Dr. Jordan appeared, leading me wherever I needed support and advice. I felt the same way about everyone I've encountered with at this university; they're all so knowledgeable, friendly, and empathetic, and they're always willing to help and guide.
Thank you, Dr. Masters, for establishing this University for me. And I felt guided by my Heavenly Father in discovering this University for me. Thank you, Michelle, Dr. Jordan, and all of the amazing people at this University.
