Navozyme was invited to participate in the Smart Ports Conference: Advances and Horizons in Castellon organised by the Port of Castelló and the University of Jaume I. Dr. Enrique Martín, Product Manager at Navozyme, presented N-MAP and explained how the DeepTech solution facilitates the quick turnaround of vessels by reducing complexity and friction in data interchange during port clearance related processes.
N-MAP was awarded the prestigious Ports 4.0 innovation grant by the Spanish Maritime Authorities (Puertos del Estado). The ports of Barcelona and Santa Cruz de Tenerife have supported the piloting.
Some of the key features provided by N-MAP include real-time data interchange for port clearances, MARPOL e-Declarations, and optimised bunkering processes.
N-MAP's beneficiaries include Port & Maritime Authorities, Ship Agents and MARPOL Operators. The various port clearance & MARPOL processes are able to be handled via N-MAP in a secure and seamless manner. For example, the data entered by the Ship's Master need not be manually re-entered in the Single Maritime Window (DUEPORT in Spain) or in the local PCSs. Ships Certificates, Masters Declarations and other statutory documents are secured via distributed ledger technology that enables easy real-time verification.
N-MAP is cloud enabled and flexible to connect to existing legacy systems via APIs. The digital platform is embedded with DeepTech (Blockchain & AI) and provides a competitive advantage to users by improving data quality for decision-making, cybersecurity, productivity and reducing the carbon footprint.
