Dear Anjaney Borwankar,

Trust you are very well!

We are proud to share that Navozyme has been selected by the prestigious Ports 4.0, the Spain Government's maritime innovation fund. Only a handful of applications are selected after a rigorous process led by Puertos del Estado involving all the Spanish Port Authorities. This important recognition further fuels our passion to continue to deliver industry-leading solutions for improved safety, decarbonisation, and productivity in the service of the global maritime industry.

Ports 4.0 selects Navozyme

The Navozyme team is proud to announce that Ports 4.0, has selected the Port Clearance Pilot proposal for commercial stage support. This selection brings both prestige and monetary support from the Spanish Port Authorities and helps Navozyme accelerate the commercialisation of its Port Call Administration solution N-MAP.

The Port Authority of Barcelona and the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife supported Navozyme's application. A pilot has already been completed with the two ports to demonstrate the benefits of N-MAP in the secure real-time interchange of information amongst various actors involved in the Port Clearance & MARPOL Ship's Waste processes.

Dr Victor Nian is a renowned expert in nuclear energy, hydrogen economy, and net-zero strategy and leads CSER in building ecosystems to support the energy transition in Asia. Dr Nian holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and BEng in Electrical Engineering and has previously been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge and Adjunct Full Professor at Tianjin University of Commerce.

Jan Holm is an accomplished senior leader with almost 30 years of international experience (in his previous roles he was CEO of A.P. Moller and Maersk Drilling in Singapore). More recently, he co-founded CSER and sits as the Chairman of The Board of Directors.

The Centre for Strategic Energy and Resources (CSER) is a think-and-do tank and an independent organisation established in the spirit of “knowledge and innovation without borders”. CSER's mission is to build enabling ecosystems to accelerate the energy transition in Asia.

Seaborg Technologies is developing a nuclear power plant concept fundamentally different from what exists today. Seaborg's goal is to make nuclear an inexpensive, sustainable and safe technology that can out-compete fossil fuels and revolutionise energy markets.

N-CAP Client Experience: Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), Philippines

Navozyme is privileged to have clients that have supported us through the years. Jo Ann Manuel, the registrar of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP, Philippines), recently shared her experience as an early adopter of N-CAP.

MAAP and other leading organisations such as the International Association of Maritime Institutions, UK, use N-CAP to issue and manage Blockchain-Enabled Electronic certificates (BEEs). A few thousand BEEs have already been issued!

Visit the new N-CAP website to learn more and you can also book a demo.

Support research on digitalisation in the maritime industry

The Navozyme team invites you to support a study from Hochschule Bremen (HSB). The research lead by HSB student, Mateusz T. Kopeć, studies the use of blockchain for the digitalisation of the maritime industry. To assist in the study, kindly answer this 5-minute survey.

HSB’s nautical faculty is working with Navozyme on a pilot study about the digital transformation of their maritime certification processes.

Navozyme participates in the Atlantic Smart Ports Blue Acceleration Network (AspBAN)

The Navozyme team with other AspBAN participants

The Navozyme team had the privilege to participate in the Atlantic Smart Ports Blue Accelerator Network event in Lisbon recently. During the 3 day event, Port Authorities, Blue Economy Investors and other deeptech startups shared ideas to collaborate with one another.

Navozyme presented N-MAP's benefits and discussed possible pilots and trials with Port Authorities who form part of AspBAN.

N-MAP uses deeptech (AI and Blockchain) to facilitate Port Call Administration ensuring safe, compliant, and quick vessel turnarounds. Processes such as port clearances, bunkering operations, and MARPOL waste declarations are all facilitated via N-MAP.
