Trust you are very well.

The recent few weeks have seen some global milestones: India’s Chandrayaan-3 achieved the inaugural landing on the south pole of the moon, while in another remarkable global first, a ship-to-containership methanol bunkering took place in Singapore.

While the world makes progress, Navozyme continues to play its part to accelerate the decarbonisation and digitalisation of the maritime industry.

N-Bunker AI-ML algorithm development

In October 2022, Navozyme's Just-In-Time Bunkering use case was selected by the European Commission-funded, AIPlan4EU. This use case proposes to reduce waiting time for ships while performing bunker operations which in turn eliminates wasted fuel burn and reduces GHG emissions in ports.

In this Research & Development project, Navozyme is the use case owner, supported by technical partner NextPort.AI. The development of the Technology-Specific-Bridge to connect the AIPlan4EUs AI-ML planning engines is in its final phase with the project on track to be completed by end October 2023.

N-CAP Client Experience: International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI), UK

Navozyme designed and developed a new digital examination system for the International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI) with the aim to bring greater security, speed and sustainability in the exam processes. The new examination system also pioneered the adoption of Blockchain Enabled E-certificates (BEEs).

Successful candidates are able to automatically receive their certificates on their mobiles via the N-CAP Wallet. The BEEs have unique QR codes that facilitate the real-time verification of the credentials.

About IAMI

The International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI) administers Yacht Deck and Engineering exams on behalf of the Maritime Coastguard Agency, UK Government. The Association consists of 24 leading maritime training institutions from all over the world. See more information here.
