COVID-19 Vaccines
CHDC is pleased to offer both Moderna and Pfizer Covid vaccines at our Coventry Mall location. We offer 1st, 2nd, 3rd and booster doses for patients 12 years and older. Boosters are available 5 months after the completion of your Covid vaccine series and your vaccination card is required upon scheduled appointment. To schedule an appointment, please email covidreg@ch-dc.org or call 484-941-9991.
In addition, CHDC offers Pfizer Pediatric Covid-19 vaccines for children ages 5-11 during a scheduled pediatric office visit. If the child is not a CHDC patient and but is interested in receiving a Covid vaccine, we periodically hold Covid-19 vaccine clinics at our Coventry Mall location. Your child will need to be registered for a clinic at our health center and an appointment will be made at that time. Stay tuned for announcements regarding upcoming pediatric vaccine clinics.
COVID-19 Testing
COVID testing is also available at our health center. To schedule a COVID test, call our health center at 610-326-9460.
Thank you,
CHDC Staff

Health Awareness Events in March
Throughout the month of March, we are highlighting:
- National Nutrition Month
- National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week (3/21 - 3/27)
- National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
These awareness months encourage us to take the time to learn more about various health causes. Click the links to learn more and spread the word!

During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits. The National Nutrition Month theme for 2022 is to "Celebrate a World of Flavors". Celebrating flavors from cultures around the world is a tasty way to nourish ourselves and appreciate our diversity. We are all unique with different bodies, goals, backgrounds and tastes! A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist can help you create healthy habits that celebrate your heritage and introduce you to new foods and flavors.

National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week®, or NDAFW, is an annual, week-long, health observance that inspires dialogue about the science of drug use and addiction among youth. We want to encourage parents, guardians, teachers, and healthcare providers to have open and honest conversations with teens about drugs and alcohol. If you are worried that a teen in your life may be struggling with drugs or alcohol, our behavioral health staff at CHDC is here to help. Give us a call at 610-326-9460 to talk to a member of our staff.

In February 2000, President Clinton officially dedicated March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Since then, it has grown to be a rallying point for the colorectal cancer community where thousands of patients, survivors, caregivers and advocates throughout the country join together to spread colorectal cancer awareness by wearing blue, holding fundraising and education events, talking to friends and family about screening and so much more. This March is all about access. Protecting one’s health is important. But many people face hurdles in accessing life-saving resources to prevent, detect, and treat colorectal cancer. At CHDC, we strive to remove these barriers from patient care.

Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries Can Save Thousands
CHDC's Case Management team will help Medicare recipients navigate the Medicare registration process and understand the Medicare buy-in program which helps eligible individuals pay for certain out-of-pocket healthcare costs. Individuals do not need to be a CHDC patient to take advantage of this free service. Seniors with limited income and resources may qualify to have their Medicare Part B premium paid for, saving thousands of dollars by receiving maximum benefits from the Medicare program.
