Honoring Juneteenth: 6/19
Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans learned of their freedom! As we honor this day of liberation and resilience, we also recognize that freedom includes the right to be heard. At the National Aphasia Association, we stand in solidarity with the Black community and affirm that every voice—spoken or unspoken—deserves to be valued, supported, and understood.
