NAAB Signs Cooperation Agreement
with Brazilian Council
The NAAB is pleased to announce that it has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding with the Council of Architecture and Urbanism in Brazil (CAU/BR) to support and promote collaboration on activities related to accreditation and quality assurance in architecture education. The leadership of both organizations, along with representatives from the UIA and the Pan American Federation of Associations of Architects (FPAA), participated in a signing ceremony at A’19 in Las Vegas; shown left to right in the photo are John A. NAAB Summer Scholar
For the second year, the NAAB is pleased to welcome its 2019 Summer Scholar! Miles Davies, a recent high school graduate from Montgomery County, MD, will work in the NAAB office before beginning his M. Arch. degree at Howard University in the fall.
NAAB Annual Report
The 2018 Annual Report on Architecture Education will be posted to the “ Publications ” page of the NAAB website on July 1, 2019. New for 2018, the report will be published as one document with three sections, instead of three separate documents. The 2018 Report on Architecture Education at Minority-Serving Institutions will remain as an independent publication and will also be available on July 1.
