The NAACCR 2025 Annual Conference will allow attendees to share ideas and learn from national experts in cancer surveillance, cancer registry operations, and cancer research. Sessions will explore emerging topics in cancer surveillance from multiple perspectives in North America. The theme of this year’s conference is learning from the past and building a bright future. Presenters are encouraged to use this theme in their submissions. The following suggested topic areas are provided as a guide:

1. Building the Future of Cancer Surveillance

2. Epidemiologic Studies Using Cancer Surveillance Data

3. Informatics and Interoperability in Cancer Surveillance   

4. Data Collection, Tools, and Operations

5. Other Relevant Topics

COLLABORATIVE BREAKOUT SESSIONS

Authors are encouraged to consider the submission of a collaborative breakout session focused on a specific topic. These sessions should have four speakers from different registries/organizations. If you are interested in collaborating with others to present a themed breakout session, please indicate this in the respective text box upon submission.

POSTER COMPETITION

If your abstract is accepted as a poster, you may enter the poster competition. To qualify for the poster competition, you must submit both a poster video and a PDF prior to the Conference as well as present a printed poster (max. 48 wide x 36 inches high) at the Conference. The award winners will have their videos presented during the Conference. More information on poster format etc. will be provided with the acceptance notification.
