The NAACCR 2026 Virtual Conference is hosted by The Manitoba Cancer Registry, CancerCare Manitoba. We look forward to an excellent, on-line educational program that will allow attendees to share ideas and learn from national experts in cancer surveillance, cancer registry operations, and cancer research. Sessions will explore the new era in cancer surveillance from multiple perspectives in North America.
The theme of this year’s conference is True North: Aligning Data, Discovery, and Impact. Presenters are encouraged to use this theme in their submissions. The following suggested topic areas are provided as a guide:
1. Enhancing the Impact of Cancer Surveillance
2. Epidemiologic Studies Using Cancer Surveillance Data
3. Informatics and Interoperability in Cancer Surveillance
4. Data Collections, Tools and Operations
5. Other Relevant Topics
COLLABORATIVE BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Authors are also encouraged to consider the submission of a collaborative breakout session focused on a specific topic. Ideally, these sessions should have four speakers from different registries/organizations. If you are submitting a proposed collaborative session with others, please have all submitters indicate this in the respective text box upon submission.
POSTER COMPETITION
If your abstract is accepted as a poster, you are eligible for the poster competition. To qualify for the poster competition, you must submit both a poster video and a PDF prior to the Conference. The award winners will have their videos featured during the Conference. More information on poster format etc. will be provided with the acceptance notification.
