As your official advocates for the Franchisee Community, NAASF sent a letter to Subway that, in sum, said the following:
“NAASF would like to collaborate ... to develop a simple solution that allows franchisees who complete remodels in a reasonable timeframe to ‘sync up’ the remodel amortization period with the terms of the franchisee’s franchise agreement and lease...”
You can read the full document (link below). To date, we have not heard back, but we wanted the Franchisee community to know that this correspondence had been sent. If and when we receive a response, we’ll share an update.
