NAASF Annual Meeting: Unique Source of QSR Information for Franchisees
The NAASF Annual Meeting, held this month in Las Vegas had so much unique information--it was a not-to-miss event!
NAASF Chairman David Jones provided the attendees with an update on strides that the association has made recently; he talked about increases in membership over the past two years and about NAASF as an organization, and our fresh approach at education.
Mike Carrouth of Fisher & Phillips spoke at length about unions and our restaurants, providing insight and advice to owners including do's and don'ts when faced with such situations.
Misty Chally, another featured speaker, covered Labor and Overtime: Real Threats to QSRs: a Legislative Briefing. She took questions about the information that she shared as well.
Andrew Malzahn, of the law firm Dady & Gardner, talked to the group about ongoing legal-related issues and took audience questions as well.
The meeting was rounded out by a robust open-mic Town Hall Meeting toward the end, a raffle with many prizes, and a cocktail party for all attendees and vendor partners!
We're very appreciative of the many folks who joined us at the event--it was so great to see everyone together again!
