Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) plans to establish a standalone bus company in Kawasaki, Japan, with Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), building on an existing MOU between their subsidiaries (Mitsubishi Fuso Bus Manufacturing and Foxtron Vehicle Technologies) to develop and commercialize zero-emission buses, starting with Foxtron’s Model T and Model U; the venture will combine FUSO’s bus development and manufacturing expertise with Foxconn’s technology, with buses developed and produced at the Toyama plant under the FUSO name.
