The U.S. Department of Energy has engaged NAATBatt to facilitate the participation of private industry in Li-Bridge. Li-Bridge is a public-private effort to develop a strategic plan for the United States to develop a secure, robust and sustainable lithium-based battery industry and supply chain. On March 16-17, Argonne National Laboratory and the Department of Energy hosted an online "listening session" facilitated in part by Li-Bridge in order to give industry the opportunity to make comments about the first round of anticipated funding for lithium-based battery infrastructure development. The DOE invited Executive Director Jim Greenberger to make remarks during the program outlining what industry can expect from Li-Bridge and why the initiative is so important to the United States.
