Did you know that you have 3 business days to update your listing
to Pending when you have a fully executed sales contract? 
This includes contracts that are accepting backup offers. If you are accepting backup offers you must update your listing to Pending, but include the contingency of “Take Backup Offers”. The only exception to this rule is if it there is an escape clause in your sales contract and it is contingent on something other than financing or inspection, then your listing can be left active but the contingency must be updated to “Escape Clause in Contract”
Any contingency or conditions of any term in a listing shall be specified and noticed to the participants.
When a listing goes under contract, MLS status must be changed from “Current” to “Pending” within three (3) business days of the change unless the contract has a “contingent with escape” clause, contingent on an event other than financing or inspection. When there is a binding with escape clause contingent on an event other than financing or inspection, status shall remain “current” and the contingency field in the MLS must be completed within three (3) business days.

One lucky REALTOR® will win $1,000 in cash to be given away by random drawing at our banquet in December. To qualify for the drawing, you must attend nine of the eleven monthly meetings in 2020 and attend the banquet. Be sure to sign in at the registration table each month so that we can track your attendance!

In addition, the Northwest Arkansas Board of REALTORS® is giving away $100 in cash at each board luncheon meeting this year. You must attend the meeting and be signed in to win. If the winner is not present, the prize will rollover to the following month.
