Our next membership meeting will be held at the NABOR Event Center at noon on Thursday, July 11th. We will announce our 2019 REALTOR of the Year and get a NAR Mid-Year update.

Our luncheon menu will be pulled pork, slider buns, baked potato salad, fresh corn/spring salad, pasta salad and chocolate chip cookies.

We will have Split the Cash, Progressive 100 and one lucky REALTOR could win $700 in our monthly drawing!

Tuition for this class is a $25 donation to your choice of the Arkansas REALTORS® Political Action Committee or Special Olympics Arkansas for all NABOR REALTOR® members. Tuition for non-member licensees is $50.

2019 required Continuing Education for Brokers and Salespeople. This seven hour class will include the three hour required topic (advertising review), one hour of safety and a three hour elective. The class will be taught by Maurice Taylor with Vivid Real Estate Learning Center.

Nominations are now open for our 2019 REALTOR® of the Year! 

The following criteria and scoring system will be used by the REALTOR® of the Year Committee in selecting our 2019 REALTOR® of the Year:

• REALTOR® Spirit – 5 points

• Civic Activities – 20 points

• Business Accomplishments – 15 points

• Local Board Activity – 30 points

• State Association Activity – 25 points

• National Association Activity – 5 points

If you know a fellow member, who has demonstrated activity and involvement in these categories that is above and beyond, please nominate them for 2019 REALTOR® of the Year! Remember to only use activity in the above categories that occurred from June 1, 2018 through May 31, 2019.

June 21st is the submission deadline for REALTOR® of the Year nominations. 

Nomination form must be at the NABOR office no later than close of business on June 21, 2019.

What makes a house a home? A pet! The Northwest Arkansas Board of REALTORS® proudly announces the 2019 Loyal Companion Pet Photo Contest. 

 

Now is the time to proudly show off your pet with the chance to win some great prizes as well as support an important cause! All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to the Arkansas REALTORS® Political Action Committee (ARPAC), which advocates for the real estate industry. 

To enter, first make an investment of $25 to (ARPAC). Once you complete your investment the confirmation page will provide a link to submit your pet’s photo. It’s that easy! The winner will receive canvas painting of their pet and a Petco gift card.  

 

The contest ends July 25 but don’t put it off, enter today . Pictures will be judged by members in attendance at the NABOR luncheon held August 1 and the winner will compete at the Arkansas REALTORS® Annual Convention in Memphis.

Buffet opens at 11:30 am, meeting starts at noon

One lucky REALTOR® will win $1,000 in cash to be given away by random drawing at our banquet in December. To qualify for the drawing, you must attend nine of the eleven monthly meetings in 2019 and attend the banquet. Be sure to sign in at the registration table each month so that we can track your attendance!

In addition, the Northwest Arkansas Board of REALTORS® is giving away $100 in cash at each board luncheon meeting this year. You must attend the meeting and be signed in to win. If the winner is not present, the prize will rollover to the following month.
