Our next membership meeting will be held at the NABOR Event Center at noon on Thursday, July 12th. We will announce our 2018 REALTOR® of the Year, and NAR Director Doyle Yates will provide updates from the Midyear Legislative meetings in Washington, DC. We will also announce our slate of nominees for Officer and Director positions.

The vote will take place during our annual meeting, to be held on August 2nd.

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY TO NOMINATE A CANDIDATE FOR 2018 REALTOR® of the Year

Nominations are now open for our 2018 REALTOR® of the Year!

The following criteria and scoring system will be used by the REALTOR® of the Year Committee in selecting our 2018 REALTOR® of the Year:

REALTOR® Spirit – 5 points
Civic Activities – 20 points
Business Accomplishments – 15 points
Local Board Activity – 30 points
State Association Activity – 25 points
National Association Activity – 5 points

If you know a fellow member, who has demonstrated activity and involvement in these categories that is above and beyond, please nominate them for 2018 REALTOR® of the Year!

Remember to only use activity in the above categories

that occurred from June 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018.

June 21st is the submission deadline for REALTOR® of the Year nominations.

Nomination form must be at the NABOR office no later than close of business on

June 21, 2018.

MLS UPDATE

First thing Monday morning, we instructed over eighty vendors to begin pulling their RETS/IDX feeds from Matrix as soon as possible. We reached out again on Tuesday for a status update, but most vendors are not prepared to provide that information.

If you have not already done so, please begin the process of making sure ALL your data is in Matrix. At this time, the deadline to have this completed is July 9. The Board of Directors is meeting on Friday and, if that date is extended, we will let you know. Staff has been researching discrepancies and there is a lot of work to be done.

Live, hands-on MLS training is offered every Wednesday at the NABOR Event Center from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Bring your laptop and your questions!
