As your President-Elect, I am honored to join such an extraordinary community of leaders committed to educational equity and excellence. This year, as we come together to share knowledge and foster growth, I’m reminded of the words of Maya Angelou: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” This conference is our opportunity to not only know better, but to do better for our students, schools, and communities.

Conference App is Going Live on October 1st


The Whova app will launch on October 1st, and each attendee will receive a message to verify their information.

Know Before You Go

There is no hotel shuttle service available to or from the airport.


RIDESHARE SERVICES: Rideshare services are available to pick up passengers outside of Level 1 Baggage Claim on the middle curb. Here are the transportation services available from the Atlanta Airport to Hotels



Weather in Atlanta 

The daytime temperatures will range from the upper 60’s and low 70’s. Evening temperatures are expected to be in the upper 50’s. 


What to Pack 

• Business attire for conference sessions, shoes to your liking and a jacket

• Theme attire for night activities 

• Casual attire for relaxation times 

• Lots of Business Cards or download a Business Card app (e.g. Blinq)!

Mobile App 

Go to the App Store or Google Play and search for “Whova”. With the mobile app, you can personalize your own schedule, find attendees, receive important real-time communication, take notes, download handouts and presentations and much more. The app will go live on Friday, November 02, 2024.


Session Presentations 

To access the session presentations, you will need to go to the mobile app and click on the session icon. Presentations are included in the individual session information and will be available for access by November 20, 2024.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION TERMS

  • Online conference registration is available through November 14, 2024, or until capacity is reached by credit card only. PURCHASE ORDERS (PO) will no longer be accepted after October 30, 2024
  • Last day, for Hotel Accommodations Group Rate, is October 30, 2024
  • Refunds must be requested in writing to the NABSE Office at info@nabse.org or by mail, postmarked no later than September 2, 2024. NO refunds will be issued after this date.
  • Declined credit cards may result in delayed registration.
  • On-site registration is available if capacity is not reached prior to the start of the conference. On-site Registration is $900.

CREDIT CARDS & SCHOOL DISTRICT CHECKS ONLY

  • Attendees will not gain access to conference activities without remitting full payment and displaying conference credentials.
  • A $30.00 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.
  • A $50.00 fee will be assessed to transfer registration from one individual to another. Registration transfer requests must be submitted in writing by October 21, 2024.
  • Conference badges must be worn in order to gain access to all conference activities. The registrant’s full name and organization will appear on your conference credentials and registration documents exactly as it is provided on the registration form.
  • All registration fees must be paid in full prior to receiving conference materials.
