Mozongi is a dance piece about the physics of time—not repetition but persistence. Its structure thus unfolds through the contrasts of movement and immobility, of the one and of the many, to give shape to a primordial conflict—that of time, which consumes space.

BENCHED is a brutally honest bodily tale about life’s big and very small questions. About settling down. About daring to sit in opposition, about sitting cross-legged, about being sat, put off or benched. About taking, creating, and giving space, and preferably remembering to do so before falling on your ass where the bench ends.

Yellowknife’s very own Old Town Versifier’s words come to life in Kestrel Puppet Players stage production of Flogg & Schlepp on March 22nd & 23rd.

Join us for a puppetry romp through a Super Bingo heist cooked up by the scheming minds of James T. Flogg and Nathanial Schlepp. But, are the cards, Bingo that is, stacked against our would-be swindlers…. only time will tell. So, grab your daubers for a night of versifying, original toe-tapping music, laughs, and puppet mayhem that will appeal to all you Bingo players at heart.
