NACL attends PAX South 2020
San Antonio, TX – 01/17/2020 – PAX South kicked off this weekend for the sixth year in a row. Members of the NACL team in attendance included Gabe Castro (  VP of Production and Strategy ) and Lawrence Shen (  Production and Sponsorship ) They were treated to some of the most diverse displays of cosplay and gaming-centric spectacles on the planet. 
“This was my first PAX event,” said Castro, “It was sensory overload and had something for gamers in all genre’s, mediums, and platforms.”
PAX South was founded in 2015 under the umbrella of Penny Arcade Expos, which now includes annual events in Seattle, Philadelphia, Boston and even Australia.

This three-day Mega expo is a buffet of video and table game tournaments, that was highlighted by an Almost Pro $10K Fortnite tourney, Standing room only auditoriums that showcased gaming panels ranging from Magic: The Gathering to Super Mario Party, and autograph sessions with some of the top gamers and game designers in the world. 
“This is a tremendous opportunity for an organization like ours to continue to be recognized within the E-sports community,” said Castro “We were able to network in so many ways with so many different groups, it’s just an electric atmosphere.”

NACL- North American Collegiate League
The North American Collegiate League (NACL) is an America-based non-profit Esports and entertainment organization that hosts and streams video game tournaments and league play for collegiate Esports competitors with scholarship prizes. This serves the purpose of fostering a communal relationship between established players, those who are looking to enter the scene, and even those who do not entirely know what the Esports industry has to offer them.
