The Chief Operating and Development Officer (CODO) has the primary responsibility of leading the day-to-day operations of the National Association, including oversight of the campgrounds, fundraising, annual campmeeting and mid-year leadership conferences, human resources, and NACOG national ministries. The CODO executes the strategic plan and operational/capital budgets as established by the Board of Directors. The CODO also works with our Partners in Ministry throughout the Church of God Movement (including Church of God Ministries, Regional Pastors, universities, and agencies) to ensure collaboration and maximum effectiveness.

As the key full-time employee of the Association, the CODO is directly accountable to the Association's Board of Directors Executive Committee for all general duties and administrative responsibilities.

To our friends and loved ones of Sister Phyllis Newby,
"Mama Miss"
We are grateful to God to report that Sister Phyllis is doing well as she is recovering from COVID. She tested positive for COVID on August 7th and after a week and a half, she has tested negative. Praise the Lord!

Thank you for praying!
We so appreciate all the prayers and calls of support. She continues with a cough, some pneumonia and fatigue. Her oxygen saturation is staying high and no longer needs assistance. Naturally, she requires a lot of rest and sleep. Her caregivers, the kids and doctor friends have done a great job. We thank them with all our hearts! Please continue to pray for her continued healing!

Earthquake & Storm Update
We also know that you would like to be made aware of how to pray and help with those suffering from the damaging earthquake and storm. Pastor Vital, who lives in Les Cayes, lost his home and church building but the family survived without injury. There are multitudes suffering. We will update as we receive information.

Thank you for your love and prayers!
