WATCH FOR YOUR STATE'S SURVEY!
The National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (NADEC) is conducting a nationwide survey—rolling out state by state—to better understand and raise awareness of how states, tribes, and communities are addressing the needs of children impacted by caregiver substance misuse. We’re gathering input from professionals and community members across disciplines—child welfare, law enforcement, medical and behavioral health, education, prevention, coalitions, courts, and more—to learn about current collaboration efforts, challenges, and the kinds of support that would be most valuable from NADEC.
This brief, 5-minute survey is designed to:
- Identify existing programs and key stakeholders
- Understand the challenges communities face in serving drug-endangered children (DEC)
- Highlight where additional training, resources, or partnerships are needed
- Inform how NADEC can best support state, local, and tribal efforts
- Elevate awareness of DEC issues across all sectors
Please keep an eye out for when your state’s survey becomes available. Every response matters—and directly helps shape how we protect children and support families impacted by substance use.
