NADTC Announces Coordination Coalition Opportunity!

The National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) is excited to announce a new Coordination Coalition opportunity for transportation agencies and human services organizations who receive FTA 5310 Funding. This effort is a result of NADTC's Coordination Advisory Committee, who has guided NADTC over the past year to develop several coordination resources and webinars.

NADTC will expand upon the work of the advisory committee to work directly with two communities in the facilitation and development of a local Coordination Coalition. This initiative aims to begin or reinvigorate coalition teams to strengthen partnerships and address transportation barriers within their community or service area. New or existing coalitions can apply for this opportunity by submitting a Letter of Interest.

The two coalition teams chosen will participate in a 2-day workshop, facilitated by NADTC staff, to build a coalition group and develop an Action Plan with appropriate goals and objectives to achieve long-term and sustainable outcomes. Groups will have from July 1, 2022 until March 31, 2023 to complete their plan, including ongoing monthly check-ins with NADTC staff and intensive technical assistance as needed.

To apply, submit your Letter of Interest to Jane Mahoney, jmahoney@easterseals.com, no later than May 27, 2022. Visit NADTC's Coordination Advisory Committee webpage to learn more about this exiting initiative and how to apply.
