Office Hours: Riders with Vision Loss: New Tools from NADTC and the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB)

On Thursday, March 2 from 2:00-3:00 PM ET, NADTC will host an office hours session focused on strategies for better serving the transportation needs of older adults with vision loss. Two new resources available on the NADTC website: Meeting the Needs of Older Passengers with Vision Loss: Guidance for Transportation Providers and Drivers Make the Difference for Older Passengers with Vision Loss will be discussed. The primary authors, Priscilla Rogers, Special Advisor of Aging and Vision Loss and Neva Fairchild, National Aging and Vision Loss Specialist, both with the American Foundation for the Blind, will present.

NADTC’s office hours are designed to enhance training and technical assistance opportunities for attendees and offer further opportunities to interact with your peers, topic experts and NADTC staff.

To foster small group discussion, attendance is capped at 30 participants.
