The Transportation Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) is conducting a Synthesis study to gather information on how public transit organizations are engaged in diverse initiatives to meet their community’s needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. These initiatives utilized transit organizations’ resources in non-traditional ways, including services like food delivery, internet hotspots, and vaccine clinic support. Ultimately, these initiatives provide valuable lessons about how transit agencies can assess community needs, leverage diverse funding sources, form partnerships, and support equity goals in their communities.
To better understand the scope of these initiatives and the partnerships that were formed, TCRP is conducting a survey of organizations of any type that may have been or currently are involved in such initiatives. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete, all response are to be completed by Wednesday, February 23rd.
Please use the following link to access the survey and share how your organization helped to meet essential needs of the community during the pandemic.
