NAEMSP will host its inaugural New Speaker Series at its 2020 Annual Meeting in San Diego. This will be a concurrent session currently scheduled for 10:30 a.m. - noon on Friday, Jan. 10, dedicated to new and emerging voices in the EMS community. Selected new speakers will give 10 -15 minute talks on the topic of their choice. The new speaker that receives the highest score from our panel of judges will be invited to present at the 2021 NAEMSP Annual Meeting.
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Be a current NAEMSP member (all classes of membership are welcome to apply)
Have never given a presentation at NAEMSP or any other national meeting (Research/abstract presentations at nationals meeting do not count towards this criteria)
In order to apply applicants must complete an
online application which includes the following:
A current Curium Viète
An up-to-150 word summary of the presentation topic and significance.
A 60-second video of the applicant "pitching" the idea for their talk.
All submitted videos become the property of NAEMSP, and may be used in whole or in part to promote the event.
Completed applications must be submitted by Nov. 15. Speakers will be announced by Dec. 2.
