April 11 - Miami Student Conference
Over 1,800 high school students will participate in the Miami Student Conference! The conference features keynote speaker Jennifer Arbelaez from Akamai Technologies, internship interviews, and sessions on cybersecurity, bitcoin, artificial intelligence, finance, engineering and hospitality.
April 12 - Western New York Student Conference
The NAF Western New York Regional advisory board and State Farm Insurance are sponsoring a student conference to prepare students for exciting careers and challenges that lie ahead. Session topics will include: sports careers, accounting careers, social media jobs, interviewing skills, personal branding, and LinkedIn training.
April 20 - Charlotte Engineering Early College Expo
This is a premier showcase event for 12th-grade students at the Charlotte Engineering Early College (CEEC). Teams of students have devoted the last four years of their education to figure out how to problem solve using the engineering design process. The expo, held yearly, is a public event where the students showcase this knowledge and their year-long design and development projects.
April 25 - New York City Finance Academy Workshop
NAF in partnership with The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) Manhattan/Bronx chapter will host an In-person “CPA Career Day” for NYC NAF Academy of Finance. CPA Career Day consists of sessions facilitated by accountant and finance industry partners from public and private sectors, NYC NAF alumni, and college students panel discussions. The event concludes in the afternoon with a visit and tour of a local firm.
