Advisory Board November News

As we celebrate our 76,000+ NAF alumni this November, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for your contributions towards empowering students to be future ready.

Your dedication and hard work have played a critical role in creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders to name a future. It is because of individuals like you that thousands of alumni, like James Norman '14, are on their successful journey and positively impacting their community.

James Norman was the keynote speaker at the 2023 Commencement Ceremony for the High School of Economics and Finance, his alma mater.

"One highlight that stands above the rest is getting the call that I was being offered my first internship ever at Ernst & Young... NAF’s programming had equipped me with the tools needed to succeed during my interview and more importantly, during my internship... Today, I am a Senior Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where we provide management consulting for banks and other financial institutions."

If you're in touch with NAF alumni, please encourage them to join our FREE NAF Alumni Network and to take our annual NAF Alumni Survey to help us improve opportunities for over 600 NAF academies and our alumni.

Sincerely,

Darrell Kain

Director, Advisory Board Activation

National Career Clusters® Framework Survey

As you know, NAF offers career pathways and approves programs of study that align with the U.S. Department of Education's National Career Clusters® Framework. The Framework is undergoing a modernization effort led by Advance CTE, WestEd, and Indigo Education Company to ensure it remains responsive and relevant to both the world of work and learner needs. As part of this process, they are collecting input about the uses of the Framework, the implementation of a modernized Framework, and what tools and resources would be valuable for your work. The survey will close on December 1.
