B efore our December walk,  Elizabeth Mileti, DO, FAAP , gave an informative, kid-friendly talk about n on-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) which, in recent years, has evolved into the most common liver disease seen in the pediatric population.Fatty liver happens when excess fat is stored in the liver. NAFLD impacts as many as 38% of children with obesity, though not all who have the chronic disease are obese.
