Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Announces 2017 Business & Community Awards Recipients
The Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NAHCC) announced last night the recipients of the 2017 Hispanic Heritage Month Business & Community Excellence Awards during its annual celebration a top the 27th floor of the Nashville City Center in downtown Nashville.

During Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15 - Oct 15) the NAHCC recognizes the professional, civic and business contributions of its members while also recognizing non-members whose involvement has had a meaningful impact on the community at large throughout the year. Nominees are selected from among those who have demonstrated commitment and leadership to the advancement of the organization, the Hispanic community, and the city of Nashville.

The NAHCC Annual Awards presented in partnership with the NAHCC Foundation is made possible thanks to the generous support of a long list of Corporate Sponsors and Community Partners.

"On behalf of the NAHCC Board, I congratulate the recipients of our 13th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Awards. We are honored to recognize those whose work and achievements have been vital to the empowerment, growth and appreciation of Hispanic businesses and community at large" said Yuri Cunza, NAHCC President & CEO.

Just a week earlier the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce received the Chamber of the Year Award by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at its annual national convention in Dallas, Texas.  The USHCC recognizes the Chamber of the Year from among more than 200 Hispanic Chambers of Commerce throughout the nation.  Award recipients are selected by an independent panel of judges and are chosen based on their  contributions to their commercial ecosystems, outstanding accomplishments, quality of service, innovation of programs, leadership and commitment to the Hispanic business community.
