Hallmark Shares Jacksonville Vision at ULI Florida Summit
It's was my privilege to be in Naples, Florida last week where I served as a guest speaker at the ULI Florida Summit 2013. The theme for this year's annual meeting of the five ULI Florida District Councils was 'Get Ahead of Change' in creating and sustaining thriving communities. Although my presentation was specifically about the decade of vision and hard work (and endurance!) that went into our 220 Riverside and Unity Plaza projects currently under construction, we have absolutely come to see ourselves as change agents. In fact, we have come to see our firm as stewards of our community and our clients. Our firm's mission of providing 'the highest quality real estate products and services'shares the core tenets of ULI but at the local level. If you've already trusted us with your needs, we sincerely thank you. If you're in need of real estate expertise and share our community mission, I encourage you to give us a call.

NAI Hallmark Partners Sees Glass Half Full
The glass is half full. The clouds of recession certainly seem to be clearing in the local Jacksonville office market. It isn't uncommon to hear adjectives such as "encouraged, hopeful, positive" when people are describing the local economy, but it isn't without skepticism. We have four primary categories we can look at when rating the local office market: absorption, vacancy, rental rate and construction activity. Much of the problem is they each tell a slightly different story. Let's take a look at each.
Welcoming Our New Team Members
When NAI Hallmark Partners recently 'lost' our dear receptionist Kerry Morter to a promotion within the Accounting Department, we faced a steep challenge in finding a person who could serve equally effective as Hallmark's first impression, both at our front door and welcoming phone calls. An internal call for candidates resulted in a perfect referral as recent UNF grad Janine King accepted the position of Office Coordinator/Receptionist. Janine's combination of integrity, professionalism, great personality, as well as prior experience in commercial real estate made her a perfect fit.
We're also pleased to welcome Jennifer Ferguson to the Asset Management team. Jennifer is an experienced customer service professional who lends unique technical skills to the group. A graduate of Hawaii Pacific University, Jennifer holds a degree in Computer Information Systems with unique knowledge of network administration, system analysis and design to best serve our clients. Jennifer is a truly unique asset to our team.
A big welcome Janine and Jennifer to the Hallmark family!
