NALHFA Announces
2022 Award of Excellence Honorees

[WASHINGTON, DC] – Last week, the National Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (NALHFA) announced its Award of Excellence honorees during its Annual Business Meeting and Award of Excellence Recognition event during the NALHFA Annual Conference held in New York City.

The NALHFA Award of Excellence is the most prestigious national recognition award in the local affordable housing finance community. The award recognizes the critical work that NALHFA members do in their local communities to provide affordable housing. Out dozens of award nominations, nine NALHFA members were recognized for their outstanding, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

"Each spring, the Award of Excellence Committee has the extremely difficult task of selecting winners from several impressive project submissions, and this year was no different," said NALHFA President Dawn Arnold. "This year's award winners are innovative projects that were financed by housing finance agencies around the country who not only understand the need for comprehensive solutions, but have the sophistication to layer multiple sources of financing required to make the projects financially feasible. These projects are great examples of how we can address the housing challenges our low to moderate income families face in an environmentally and financially sustainable way that will continue to provide quality affordable housing for years to come."

The 2022 Award of Excellence Honorees are:

HOME Excellence Award Recipients

Multifamily Excellence Award Recipients

Redevelopment Excellence Award Recipients

Single Family Excellence Recipient

Congratulations once again to this year’s award recipients. A special thank you to Stifel who sponsored the event and to everyone who joined us to celebrate these outstanding projects.
