NAMEPA Partners with Bridgeport YMCA
This summer Bridgeport CT YMCA hosted their annual camp for grades 1-7 and partnered with NAMEPA to deliver marine environment education to the campers. The NAMEPA program engages with campers at the local beach, Seaside Park, where the campers surveyed the Long Island Sound, their backyard coastal habitat. The Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 085-33, 8th Western Rivers, held its second-quarter board meeting on July 24, 2021, at the Narrows Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The UNFCC Climate Report released last week made it abundantly clear that we, as a global society, must take action now to mitigate climate changes taking place in every region across the globe. The report is a scientific assessment of the physical basis of climate change and defines changes that have not been seen in many thousands of years.
