It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Nathan W. Garner, one of NAMIC’s founding members.

Nate, as he was more commonly known, was a true Black pioneer in the cable industry. He was a mentor to countless executives from diverse backgrounds. He was tireless in his efforts to ensure access and equality in the media and entertainment industry.


NAMIC ELDP Class XX Call for Nominations
NAMIC is now accepting nominations for 2020-2021 Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) Class XX. To be eligible, applicants must be persons of color at the director level (minimum of two years at that level) or above.

The deadline to submit applications is August 21.
