Season's Greetings

2020, the Year of the Nurse and Midwife has most certainly proven to be a year where nurses have risen to the challenge and performed under extraordinary circumstances, tackling an unpredictable pandemic while sacrificing time away from families in order to care for the public.

The Board of Directors recognizes nurses’ continued contribution to health care delivery for

the well-being of patients in New Brunswick and will be announcing a significant nursing investment in 2021. Stay tuned, as we hope to share the details in person.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, we wish you and your families a peaceful, safe, and healthy holiday season.

NANB Committee Members

NANB is presently looking for members interested in becoming involved in various standing committees including: complaints committee, discipline and review committee, nursing education advisory committee, as well as the nurse practitioner therapeutics committee.

If you are interested in volunteering for one of the Committees and you meet some or all of the criteria, please submit your resume to nanb@nanb.nb.ca for consideration, stating your language proficiency. Only eligible candidates will be contacted. For additional information,

Resolutions Committee

NANB is searching for two committee members for the Resolutions Committee. The Committee facilitates a call for resolutions from NANB members and receives and screens the resolutions. Members of the Resolutions Committee determine whether resolutions are suitable for decision at the Annual General Meeting, for direct presentation to the Board, or for action by NANB staff.
