Center of Islamic Learning Update

November has been a super busy month with two extremely busy and milestone events taking place in Toronto.

On Saturday, November 4th, CIL hosted a TSP Masterclass whereby the 13 facilitators who completed the Train the Trainer Program in 2022, planned, executed and facilitated the half day program. It was an extraordinary hybrid event which catered to participants both online and in person. The facilitators did an awesome job and we would like to take this opportunity to commend them for a year of growth and transformation.

Yet another phenomenal event was the Teachers EmpowerED Conference which took place on Sunday, November 5, at the Jaffari Community Center in Toronto and was attended by around 250 educators worldwide - both in person and online. The conference was facilitated by Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi and Shehnaaz Somji. The hybrid conference catered to a wide audience and addressed key areas and concerns faced by global educators. From Think Tank activities to inspiration and motivation to emotional impact, it was a day full of learning, empowerment and growth. The feedback has been extremely positive and this is definitely an event that we foresee to have on an annual basis.

November also took two of the TSP groups to Microteach 4, now preparing them for the final leg of their journey.
