Leadership Development Program

NASIMCO, in collaboration with the Islamic Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat (ISIJ) of Toronto and The World Federation are pleased to announce the 10th Leadership Development Program (LDP) that is being held on Friday, April 14 - Monday, April 17, 2017 in Toronto.

The program is facilitated by professionals and had proven success stories from participants. NASIMCO is committed to building the capacity of its members.

This program is being offered at  CAD $360.00 (Early Bird Special) if signed up by February 24th, 2017 and  CAD $410.00 (After Early Bird)  if signed up by  March 17th, 2017 .

Circle of Care - Hospice Palliative Care Ontario
Wednesday, January 18, 2017 saw the successful launch of the 10-week formal training for volunteers interested in providing care and support for chronically ill or aging persons or their caregivers. Known as the Circle of Care, a joint NASIMCO and ISIJ of Toronto initiative, this training is provided for ISIJ of Toronto community members and covers the standards laid out by Hospice Palliative Care Ontario. The training is at full capacity, participants were very enthusiastic and excited and NASIMCO has received positive feedback.

Anjuman-e-Asghari, Minnesota recently held elections for their Executive Committee. The elected positions are as below:

Building Administrator: Shabbir Walji

Congratulations to President Elect of The World Federation
On behalf of the North American Jamaats and the Executive Council of NASIMCO, we take this opportunity to extend our warmest congratulations to Alhaj Anwarali Rajabali Dharamsi  as the President elect of The World Federation of KSIMC for the term 2017-2020.

We pray that Allah (S.W.T.) gives him tawfeeq, good health, courage and strength to serve and lead the community at large.

Sports through our Communities
Vancouver Sports Festival - April 15-16, 2017

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Az Zahraa Islamic Centre in conjunction with the various sporting bodies that run within it, is hosting its first ever sports festival, "Vancouver Sports Fest" .

The tournament will be held on the Easter weekend of April 15 and 16, 2017 , in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Al-Wahda Sports Festival - September 1-3, 2017 (Labour Day Weekend)

The ISIJ of Toronto welcomes you and your families to the Al-Wahda Sports Festival in Toronto, Canada.
