President's Letter

Dear NASPOG members,

I would like to extend a warm thank you to all who participated in the 2018 NASPOG meeting in Philadelphia in April. It was a pleasure to meet many of you. Many thanks also to Dr. Neill Epperson and the 2018 Planning Committee for planning such a rich and energizing meeting.

Plans are underway not only for our 2020 meeting but also for some new NASPOG initiatives. I am excited to announce that the NASPOG Executive Board has decided to dedicate some time to self-reflection and strategic planning to help our organization refocus our purpose, goals and opportunities and set the vision and direction for the organization. The Board has decided to partner with Association Options to facilitate this process. Meetings will begin soon and will be wrapping up in the first part of 2019.

You are all a key part of this process!! The Board is interested in hearing from you, our members. We value your feedback as we aim to address the needs of our members and opportunities and issues facing women's mental health care. Please take a few minutes to respond to an upcoming survey the week of Nov 5-9.

There are many other ways you can be involved.

Please vote for new Board members below and please consider volunteering for one of the committees listed below.

I look forward to sharing our progress in upcoming newsletters.

Sincerely,

Chiara Ghetti, MD
