Almost 2 million people in the U.S. are incarcerated. 1 in 5 have a parent who has been incarcerated, and 2.6 million children have a parent who is currently incarcerated (Prison Policy Initiative, 2023).

This webinar provides a comprehensive overview of the criminal legal system to guide clinicians through each stage - from arrest to reintegration - while examining the emotional, psychological, relational, and systemic impacts at every phase. Participants will learn how system involvement reshapes identity, mental health, family roles, and long-term stability and explore evidence-based interventions to strengthen communication, repair relational strain, build trust, foster resilience, and support individuals and families.

The Woodwinds

29 Schoolground Road

Branford, CT

This presentation will focus on understanding, recognizing and embracing neurodiversity as a fundamental aspect of human development. By viewing neurodiversity through the lens of infant and early childhood mental health, we can create environments that not only accept but also celebrate the unique qualities of every child. Prioritizing this approach establishes a strong foundation of resilience, growth, and inclusion from the earliest stages of life.
