09/27/23, Utilizing a Client's Emotional Intelligence and DBT Skills in the Treatment Process to Promote Stabilization and Recovery

In more recent history, the credibility of an “emotional intelligence” factor determined to be equally important has emerged.  The ability for people to “thrive” versus “survive” on a daily basis appears to be more the result of a combination of both types of thinking, processing, and perceiving. This underlying premise, combined with pragmatic behavioral strategies, allows individuals to process experiences utilizing IQ and EQ and choose self-management and emotion regulation to have more productive experiences and relationships. This training will be very interactive to include video vignettes, small group breakouts, and large and small group discussions.
