Join The Connecticut Women’s Consortium and the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for a dynamic new maternal behavioral health conference at the Hartford Marriott Downtown. This engaging program will unite behavioral health clinicians, medical providers, community-based practitioners, and lived-experience voices to strengthen care across clinical, cultural, and holistic domains. Together, we will explore how to bridge silos in maternal healthcare and advance safe, trauma-informed, gender-responsive, culturally competent, whole-person care for every individual.
Featured presenters include Catharine McDonald, MS, NCC, LPC, PMH-C, a perinatal mental health and reproductive wellness expert; Dr. Lucinda Canty, PhD, CNM, FACNM, FAAN, midwife, researcher, and Black maternal health leader; Kenn Harris, renowned speaker and maternal health advocate; Dr. Dyanne Tappin, UCONN educator, OBGYN, and perinatal mental health specialist; and a panel of complementary health and wellness providers highlighting their role in perinatal behavioral healthcare.
