Please note that the Chapter's mailing address has changed as of January 1, 2023. Our new mailing address is 400 Union Ave. SE, Ste. 200, Olympia, WA 98501. The Chapter no longer has a brick-and-mortar office space and the Olympia address serves for receiving mail only. Our staff work remotely and can be reached directly by email or phone during normal business hours. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

NASW-WA Policy Conference Registration Opens Soon!

Our 2023 NASW-WA Policy Conference is set for Monday, February 20, 2023. The Legislative Action Committee will deliver a hybrid (virtual and in-person) opportunity for students and professionals to learn about the legislative process and ways to get involved in advocacy. NASW-WA plans to have videos available in preparation for the in-person event. The event is set for Monday, February 20, 2023 from 10AM - 12PM Pacific Time. Registration will open soon and allow participants the ability to indicate attendance in-person or virtually.

We have secured space at St. Martin's University in Lacey, WA for the in-person portion. Messaging to come about the day's details, safety precautions, and more!
NASW Virtual Career Fair January 31, 2023

You're invited to participate in NASW’s Virtual Career Fair! Whether you're searching for new employees or looking for an exciting opportunity in social work, you'll want to join the Virtual Career Fair. This exciting event will be held on January 31, 2023 from 10am - 4pm EST.

NASW Announces New CEO

Morgan State University Professor Anthony Estreet will be the new CEO of NASW starting Feb. 6. Estreet promises to work collaboratively on social justice issues, boost membership, and increase compensation for social workers.
