JUNE & JULY MEETINGS
NASWA leadership and the Board Executive Committee have been monitoring developments related to COVID-19. It is with regret that we inform you in-person meetings scheduled in June and July 2020 are canceled. Multiple factors led to the decision to cancel these meetings, including health, safety and the important work being done during this unprecedented time.

ANNOUNCING NASWA'S NEW LEARNING SYSTEM!
NASWA Learning provides courses and certifications custom designed for busy workforce development professionals. Learning opportunities are available on-demand and through scheduled virtual and in-person instructor-led training events.

Courses are available in a variety of online and in-person formats.

Courses in the paths are developed in collaboration with workforce system and program area subject matter experts (SMEs). SMEs, many of whom are volunteers from NASWA member organizations, play a critical role in determining appropriate content, resources, and accuracy. The result is content that is current, relevant, and tailored specifically to the needs of workforce system and program area staff.

The Veterans' Employment and Training Service launched a new version of the Employer Guide to Hiring Veterans.

Page 8 of the guide highlights the National Labor Exchange (NLx), and many other organizations NASWA works with to promote Veteran hiring and state services.
