National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a nationwide celebration to showcase the opportunities that apprenticeship offers for Americans to develop workplace experience and skills that employers value.

The fifth annual NAW will take place November 8-14, 2020, at hundreds of events across the country. These events give leaders in business, labor, education and other critical industries the opportunity to showcase their apprenticeship programs, apprentices, and facilities to career seekers in their local communities.

DATA ANALYTICS TRAINING
FOR STATE WORKFORCE AGENCY TEAMS
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration is facilitating Applied Data Analytics training for state teams through the Coleridge Initiative. The training is developed in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Employment Security and rolled out in partnership with NASWA. 

States will learn how to use administrative data to examine the unemployment to reemployment trajectories of UI benefit claimants and visualize the data in a dashboard, in order to develop insights for reemployment and recovery.

NOTE: Applications are due November 15.
