The U.S. House of Representatives just passed an appropriations bill that will fund the government, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), through Sept. 30, 2019. The vote follows passage of the bill by the U.S. Senate earlier today. It will be transmitted to the White House shortly. The President has several options, including: signing the legislation and preventing another shutdown; vetoing the legislation, forcing Congress to take additional action before the current continuing resolution expires tomorrow night at midnight; or taking no action on the legislation and running out the clock on the current continuing resolution, which will result in a government shutdown.
We will keep you updated as things develop.
