If you have not already done so, please reserve your hotel room as soon as possible. Hotel rooms are not automatically booked when you register for Convention. We have three hotels to choose from: the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown, the Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square, and the Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City-Convention Center. Rooms are filling fast at each of the three hotels and there are a limited number of rooms at each of the hotels. Once NATCA's reserved hotel rooms are fully booked, no additional rooms will be added and you will have to find your own accommodations!

EVENTS: Register Now To Ensure Your Entry, Get The Best Prices
We have four evening events in Philadelphia that require advance registration: our Opening Reception on Tuesday, April 17 from 6-9 p.m. at the National Constitution Center, the NATCA Charitable Foundation (NCF) Solidarity Event on Wednesday, April 18 from 7-11 p.m. at Eastern State Penitentiary, the Regional Dinners on Thursday, April 19 starting at 7 p.m. at various locations, and the Closing Banquet on Friday, April 20 from 7-11 p.m. at Reading Terminal Market. The Solidarity Event and the Closing Banquet also require advance payment with your registration.
 
Costs for each of those two events:
 
NCF Solidarity Event:
On or before March 20:  Over 21 - $25 | Under 21 - $10
March 21 to April 13:  Over 21 - $50 | Under 21 - $15
After April 13:  Over 21 - $100 | Under 21 - $25
 
Closing Banquet:
On or before March 20:  Over 21 - $50 | Under 21 - $20
March 21 to April 13:  Over 21 - $75 | Under 21 - $30
After April 13:  Over 21 - $150 | Under 21 - $40

Robert's Rules, which will be used at the NATCA 17th Biennial Convention, provide common rules and procedures for deliberation and debate in order to place the whole membership on the same footing and speaking the same language. Learn more.

PRE-CONVENTION CLASSES: Please Join Us on Tuesday, April 17 
We hope your travel plans will allow for arrival into Philadelphia in time to take advantage of our exciting lineup of pre-convention classes on Tuesday, April 17 at the  Convention Center. Classes begin at noon. No advance registration is needed. Our lineup:

Mock ConventionMany may be nervous to go to the microphone at the convention. Learn the techniques to better prepare yourself, with special guest President Emeritus John Carr. 
Times: Noon- 12:45 p.m.; 1-1:45; 2-2:45; 3-3:45.
Class Instructor: The NATCA Constitution Committee.

NATCA 101: NATCA 101 provides members with basic education of who NATCA is, where NATCA comes from, what our union offers, and why. The class is intended to introduce our newer members to the organization and structure of NATCA, as well as refresh and encourage those looking to get more involved.
Time: Noon-2 p.m.
Class Instructor: The NATCA Reloaded Committee.

Having a Difficult Conversation:  Not every problem has a perfect solution, but communication is the key to working through difficult conversations and finding the right path forward. Communicating is hard, even more so when there is a conflict or disagreement, a personal issues, or a problem to address. Here is an opportunity for NATCA members to learn constructive ways to have those tough conversations.  
Time: Noon-2 p.m.
Class Instructor: The NATCA Reloaded Committee.

Importance of Pre-Construction MeetingsConstruction and maintenance activities can have occupational safety and health, and environmental related impacts on Air Traffic and Airway Facilities operations. As Aviation Safety Professionals, your attendance and attention to these important collaborative events is vital. 
Time: Noon-2 p.m.
Class Instructor: The NATCA OSHA Committee.

How to Keep Your Local Out of JailLearn the correct ways to keep track of your local's financial records and various other documents, and improve your knowledge of NATCA, the Department of Labor, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rules. Understand the importance of strict record keeping, consistent financial records for your local, and how to provide written documentation to meet financial guidelines.
Time: Noon-2 p.m.
Class Instructor: The NATCA Finance Committee.

Say Again; Best Practices to Communicate:  Whether it's a face-to-face conversation, a text, or a written e-mail exchange, a meaningful message entails establishing a connection that leaves a powerful impression. Discover the different methods of communication and the best ways to use them.
Time: 2:30-4:30.

Know Your OSHA and OWCP RightsLearn the requirements and rights that apply to you as related to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) .  
Time: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Class Instructors: The NATCA OSHA/OWCP Committees.

NATCA Charitable Foundation 101:  This class is brief overview of the history of the NATCA Charitable Foundation (NCF) and the organization's current structure. You'll learn about the symbiotic relationship between the charitable foundation, the Union itself, and its members.
Time: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
