Important Calendar Notes for 2025/26

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to inform you that next year we will no longer have late starts on Wednesdays. Due to calendar constraints, a later start to the school year, aligning our calendar as a system and the need to meet state-required instructional hours, we had to adjust our schedule. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to prioritize the best learning experience for our students.

We’d also like to inform you that graduation for the class of 2026 will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026. While this is still some time away, we wanted to give you a heads-up so you can mark the date on your calendars early.

Post Prom 2025

Post Prom this year will be held on April 26, 2025 immediately following Xavier Prom. As always, the goal of Post Prom has been to provide a safe, fun, drug- and alcohol-free environment for our students. Please keep in mind that this event is completely dependent on parent support.

We are in need of Post Prom committee volunteers. This is typically served by junior parents. If you are interested or have questions regarding either, please text Becky Weininger at becky.weininger@gmail.com

XITA / XISA / XTRA Nominations

Girls Tennis Parent Meeting

There will be a girls tennis parent information meeting for all girls interested in playing tennis this Spring at Xavier HS on Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00pm in the Xavier Commons

NEW Members - Trapshooting Information Meeting

There will be a meeting for all NEW members and their parents interested in participating in Trapshooting this spring at Xavier HS on Tuesday, March 4th, at 6:00pm in the Xavier Commons.

Boys Golf Parent Meeting

There will be a Boys Golf Parent Meeting on Monday, March 10th at 7:00 PM in the Xavier Commons for all boys interested in playing golf this fall.

Boys Tennis Parent Meeting

There will be a Boys Tennis Parent Meeting on Tuesday, February 18th, at 5:30 PM in the Xavier Commons for any boys interested in playing tennis this spring.

Register for Spring Activities/Sports on Bound

Any student planning on participating in an activity (fine arts, athletics or clubs) at Xavier High School this spring must be registered on Bound. Please register now for all activities you plan to participate in this year so that we can provide communication to you prior to the season.

• Go to www.gobound.com/ia/schools/xavier, then Sign In, and click on “Registration”. 
• Make sure you are selecting the 2024-25 school year.
• If your student is interested in participating in multiple activities, please register them for each activity.
• If your student is considering participating in athletics or cheer, parents must also upload a Physical, and electronically sign a Concussion and Permission/Release Form via Bound. All physicals will now be uploaded through this process – paper forms will not be accepted in the XHS Activities Office. You will not need to print a form elsewhere.

PowerSchool Registration for 2025/26 Due March 1st for Priority Enrollment

PowerSchool Registration is now available for all returning Xavier Catholic Schools families. With growing enrollment, your attention to these forms is important in securing your child’s spot for the 25-26 school year. The date and time of received registration materials will be used in situations where capacity limits enrollment. 

In order for enrollment to be considered complete, all Power School Enrollment Express forms must be submitted and/or accepted (yellow and green leaves will indicate these statuses). Deadline to complete the registration process is March 1, 2025 for priority enrollment. After March 1, 2025 all registration materials are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Senior Photos Deadline

Seniors Photos for the yearbook will be due April 4th and can be emailed to Lauren Phillips at lauren.phillips@crxcs.org

Students should be in appropriate attire with no baseball caps.

Final Yearbook Order Deadline

2024-2025 yearbook orders will close on April 30th and can be purchased through Jostens.
