Tuesday, we remember the dignity for all vulnerable children, including the unborn. Wednesday’s theme is respect for people of every race, ethnicity, and culture, and Thursday, we remember the dignity of all those with differing abilities, the aging, and the sick. We will celebrate our Respect Life Mass with Father March and Father Dunne on Wednesday.

Kirkwood Healthcare Expo

On Thursday, Nov. 16th from 9:00-11:00 AM, Linn Regional Center will be hosting a Healthcare Expo for sophomore & junior students interested in the Kirkwood Health Science Career Academies next year. This event is designed to share information with students about the Health Science Career Academies, give them a chance to chat with health science industry professionals about careers in healthcare, and let students demo some of the things they can learn in Career Academies. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about our Career Academies, but also talk with these professionals about how their education can prepare them for future careers in Health Care. If your student is interested in attending please email katie.hamilton@xaviersaints.org by Nov. 1st. Students will be transported from Xavier to this event.

Donations Still Needed for Parent Teacher Conferences

During fall conferences XPX provides meals for the teachers as these are very long work days at Xavier. They are also collecting extra snacks and treats for teachers and staff for "Thankful Thursdays", where we will set out treats in the teachers' lounge as an extra treat for all they do.

Please see the following link to help donate food and drinks for these meals. All donations can be dropped off October 25-27 (see specific date/time in sign up) outside the main office on the carts provided. If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Schmit @ 329-3906 or kschmitpt@gmail.com.
