Focus Time (FT): Prayerful Focus Time

This year replacing Saturday school is Focus Time. Focus Time will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays after school.

Working to support the intellectual, social and emotional needs of our students, Focus Time will be used to develop students' consistency and growth in these areas. Focus Time provides the opportunity for students to refocus their minds in hopes to improve their behavior and/or their academic performance.

Focus Time & Eligibility

Students on academic deficiency (D- or below) in two or more classes for consecutive weeks will be required to attend Focus Time for a minimum of one hour each week until they are off deficiency.

Time not served within one week will result in double the minutes the following week. Time not served over a two week period will lead to the student not being able to participate or attend activities until time is served.
